Arra Group Supports Logistics Education
Arra Group Supports Logistics Education – Series of Meetings at the Economic School in Głogów
Representatives of Arra Group took part in a series of educational meetings organized in cooperation with Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych im. Jana Pawła II w Głogowie.
The initiative aims to introduce students to the realities of working in the transport, forwarding, and logistics industry, while presenting how modern supply chains operate in practice.
During the first three sessions, students had the opportunity to explore various aspects of how a logistics company operates — from organizing international transport to topics related to safety and quality in transport processes.
The first session was led by Joanna Daniec-Kołduba from the HR department and Marcin Siedy from the transport operations team.
Students learned about working in the TSL sector, possible career paths, and the daily responsibilities of dispatchers and forwarders.
The next session was conducted by Anna Węcław, who presented the practical aspects of working as a groupage forwarder. Students learned how transport monitoring works, how communication with drivers is handled, how forwarding processes are planned and documented, and how customs procedures and ferry transport are organized.
During the third session, Paulina Złoczewska and Marcin Siedy introduced students to topics related to transport claims handling and drivers’ working time regulations — both crucial elements in the functioning of the TSL industry.
For Arra Group, participation in such initiatives is an important part of cooperation with the local community and a way to support young people in making informed career decisions.
The next meeting in the series will take place in the form of practical training.
